tattoo RW (RE-Write) |
|
 |
The
new Tattoo Rewrite has been designed to print on rewritable cards.
These cards contain a thermo-sensitive material that becomes
visible or vanishes depending on the applied temperature. The
same card can thus be erased and reprinted up to 500 times.
The Tattoo Rewrite fits a wide array of market applications: visitor
management, customer loyalty schemes, transportation tickets, student
ID cards, event management and many more.
The standard 300 dpi resolution and
larger printing area (48 x 76 mm) provide users with unrivalled
freedom in designing badges and cards, as graphical elements,
images, texts and bar codes can easily be printed.
Moreover, the erase/print cycle of 8 seconds is ideal for instant
update and printing of shopping loyalty cards or visitor badges,
at any point of sale or company reception desk.
The absence of a ribbon and the ability to re-use the cards up
to 500 times makes Tattoo Rewrite a cost effective printing solution. |

EVOLIS QUANTUM 2 |
|
 |

The new Quantum2 (available December
2009) is
a powerful system
to personalize plastic cards in volume. It offers a centralized
personalization process that matches the flexibility
of a desktop printer with the power of an industrial
machine. This system prints cards in dual-sided
mode, in color or monochrome, and delivers more than
1,000 personalized cards per hour in monochrome, with
high-definition text, logos, pictures and barcodes. This
optimized throughput leverages two brand new detachable
and interchangeable hoppers with a large capacity of
500 cards each.
The highly flexible encoding module
encodes all types of conventional-sized cards. Its reversible
design enables the user to flip the module over in a
snap, enabling printing of the magnetic stripe side without
having to use a dedicated, time-consuming, and laborious
system for flipping each and every card over. This feature
makes it possible to speed up the full encoding process
and printing cycle.

The Securion is a one-stop solution for
personalizing and laminating secure badges on-site. The
printer seamlessly scales to meet growing concerns about
security and data forgery, while greatly extending the
lifespan of any card.
The compact printer offers dual-sided
operations on both the color-printing module and the lamination
station. A protective film is applied over the surface
with hot roller technology, after the graphical and electrical
personalization process. The film is either a continuous
layer of varnish or a patch. Editing and encoding a secure

Evolis printers can be operated by numerous Mac software.
In order to design and print ID Badges and cards, Evolis
recommends Business
card composer from Belight Software.
Although this software is dedicated to business cards
in the first place, it is also very convenient to design
and print visual ID Badges. It offers a powerful editing
mode as well as MAC OSX integration (address book, iphoto...).
You can also print barcodes. This software is available
in English and German.
Business Card Composer v5 has been tested by the Evolis
team to ensure it works flawlessly with our single and
dual-sided card printers. Note: TransTech
Systems and Evolis recommend this software but do not support
it. For support information, please refer to
the software editor. |
